GBI arrests 17-year-old boy in child exploitation investigation

CORNELIA – A 17-year-old Georgia boy was arrested as part of a Georgia Bureau of Investigation investigation into child exploitation.

The GBI arrested and charged Godfather Diontae Carter, age 17, of Alto, Georgia, with aggravated stalking and child abuse. On May 14, 2024, Cornelia Police requested the GBI to investigate an allegation of child abuse.

Carter was booked into the Habersham County Detention Center on June 5, 2024.
