Woman shot at Roosevelt Homes in East St. Louis

EAST ST. LOUIS – A woman was killed in a fatal shooting in East Saint Louis early Wednesday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the Roosevelt Homes apartment complex on 45th Street. Illinois State Police security forces were on site and investigating.

The police are still searching for the shooter.
