How to watch the San Francisco Giants vs. the Houston Astros

After a thrilling extra innings victory on Monday, the San Francisco Giants will look to win their series against the Houston Astros tonight. It would certainly be nice if they could send their ace, Logan Webb, into a Wednesday game with a chance for a sweep.

But let’s not go too far. There’s a Tuesday night game up for grabs! And to get the job done, the Giants are turning to right-hander Jordan Hicks. In his first season with the Giants – and first season as a starter – Hicks made 13 starts and was 4-2 with a 2.82 ERA, 3.80 FIP and 59 strikeouts for 23 walks in 67 innings. However, he hasn’t been at his best in his last two outings and allowed six hits, four walks and two runs in just 3.2 innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks last week.

On the other side is right-hander Ronel Blanco, a 30-year-old who is only playing his third season. Blanco has made 11 starts and is 5-2 with a 2.78 ERA, 4.23 FIP and 59 strikeouts to 27 walks in 64.2 innings. Blanco set the baseball world on fire with an exceptional start to the year, which included a no-hitter in his season debut and six scoreless frames in his second outing. But he’s been cold lately, allowing four earned runs in each of his last two starts.

Enjoy the game! Go giants!
