Cleveland City Hall to remain closed Tuesday after ‘cyber incident’

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A “cyber incident” will force Cleveland City Hall to close for a second day on Tuesday, city officials announced Monday.

Erievew will also remain closed again on Tuesday.

In a press conference on Monday afternoon, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb did not disclose the scope or nature of the “cyber incident” but said the investigation was ongoing.

Departments and services not affected:

– Department of Public Safety: Services such as 911, police, fire and ambulance are operational.

– Port Authority: Operations at Cleveland Hopkins and Burke Lakefront airports are continuing as usual.

– Department of Public Utilities: Water, Water Conservation and Cleveland Public Power services remain unaffected.

– Municipal Courts: These operate normally as they are based on a different system.
