Investigation into Pomona Police shooting suspect continues

The investigation into a shooting involving Pomona police that left one man injured and hospitalized in stable condition continued Monday.

According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which is investigating the shooting, Pomona police officers responded to the 200 block of Las Brisas Circle around 7:35 p.m. Sunday because “shots were fired during a domestic dispute.”

“The suspect exited the property at a high rate of speed and caused a traffic accident at the intersection of Holt Avenue and White Avenue,” the sheriff’s statement said.
