Woman found dead at rest stop along IH-37

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A 29-year-old woman was found dead near the IH-37 NB rest area late Saturday night, according to San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera.

The woman was reportedly found alone in her Mazda SUV.

In a Facebook post, Sheriff Rivera said her sister reported her missing from the Seguin area on June 5.

Rivera said an autopsy has been ordered to determine the woman’s cause of death.
