Two accused of murdering a deaf man during a road rage incident

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana State Police have arrested two people involved in a road rage shooting on a highway last week that resulted in the death of a deaf man.

Ryan Hawkins, a 35-year-old, was found dead in a pond off northbound I-65 around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. Hawkins was shot in the neck while driving his Hyundai Elantra after someone shot at him in a Ford Explorer.

On Friday, Andre Briski, 24, and Shawna Rowland, 23, were arrested in connection with the case. Briski is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, while Rowland is charged with aiding and abetting a felon and obstruction of justice.
