Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Wellford, South Carolina, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger. The accident occurred just before midnight near the Upward Sports Star Center on Warren H. Abernathy Boulevard, Clevenger said. According to Clevenger, one person died at the scene. He was identified as Armando Luis Torres, 47, of Lyman. Another person died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Clevenger said. She was identified as Debra Heanu, 67, of Spartanburg. Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Wellford, South Carolina, according to Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger.

The accident occurred just before midnight near the Upward Sports Star Center on Warren H. Abernathy Boulevard, Clevenger said.

According to Clevenger, one person died at the scene of the accident.

He was identified as Armando Luis Torres, 47, of Lyman.

Another person died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Clevenger said.

She was identified as Debra Heanu, 67, of Spartanburg.
