Gallatin woman pleads guilty in fatal Cameron crash

A Gallatin woman accused of causing a fatal crash in Cameron last year has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter. Sentencing for Cylea Campbell, 23, is scheduled for Aug. 6 in Clinton County District Court.

The allegation stems from an accident that occurred in August on the Grand River Bridge at Interstate 35. According to Cameron police, 86-year-old Ray Stone of Cameron was killed in the accident.

Campbell’s plea was entered in court this week, in which she admitted her role in the accident that took Stone’s life.
