Your first warning of a changing weather pattern that will bring significantly better weather by the end of the week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The stormy pattern that has gripped the Mid-South this week will give way to a much drier air mass that will move into the region tonight. This will make for a sunny and dry end to the week, but rain will likely return over the weekend.

TONIGHT: Decreasing cloud cover with a light northwest wind and minimum temperatures overnight between 18 and 21 degrees.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with a northwest wind 5 to 10 mph and afternoon highs in the 80s to near 90 degrees.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear with a light northerly wind and overnight lows of between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and mild with maximum temperatures around 30 degrees and nighttime lows around 18 degrees.

THE WEEKEND: On Saturday it will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of evening showers. Maximum temperatures will again be around 30 degrees and minimum temperatures at night around 21 degrees. On Sunday it will be mainly cloudy with isolated rain showers and some thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures will be around 27 degrees and minimum temperatures at night around 18 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: On Monday it will be partly cloudy with highs of around 27 degrees and lows at night of around 18 degrees. On Tuesday it will be mostly sunny with highs of around 27 degrees and lows at night of around 18 degrees. On Wednesday it will be partly cloudy with highs in the afternoon of around 27 degrees.
