Flack Broadcasting – NYSP: Forestport car theft investigation leads to arrest of felon

FOREST HARBOUR- Authorities say an arrest has been made in connection with a car theft in northern Oneida County.

Thomas A. Grant, 42, of Rome, New York, was charged by New York State Police on Tuesday afternoon with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property (value of property > $3,000).

Police say the arrest stems from a car theft investigation in the town of Forestport on May 16.

At press time, Grant’s arrest status was listed as “determined” and police said an investigation was underway.

No further details were disclosed.
