17-year-old shot dead in shooting in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahoma City police are investigating after a teenager was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers responded to Southwest Medical Center around 3 a.m. after someone was dropped off with a gunshot wound. The victim, 17-year-old Gjmon Davis, later died at the hospital.

Investigators say the shooting occurred during a disturbance near SW 25th St. and Youngs Blvd.

While the investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 405-297-1200.
