Sparta man arrested for cattle theft in Jackson County

A Sparta man, 20-year-old Jennings Christenson, was arrested for cattle theft in Jackson County.

The sheriff announced Christenson’s arrest last week, saying he allegedly stole about $20,000 worth of cattle that night.

Christenson was quickly arrested and the stolen cattle were returned to their owner shortly after his arrest.
