Police operation in Morton Grove: Crown Point Truck & Trailer Repair on Lehigh Avenue and Kirk Street is under investigation

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) – There was a noticeable police presence outside a northern suburban store on Wednesday evening as officers executed a search warrant.

Morton Grove Police and other area agencies were at the Crown Point Truck & Trailer Repair at Lehigh Avenue and Kirk Street, securing business.

According to the police, the arrest warrant concerns financial and economic crimes.

Patrol cars and yellow tape surrounded the store on Wednesday.

Investigators are expected back in the building on Thursday to continue their investigation.

The police said there was no danger to the public.

The police initially did not provide any further information about the possible criminal offenses in which the company is said to be involved.
