Weather warning for Thursday morning: Heavy rain possible – Flooding – Rhode Island – Massachusetts

A fast-moving low-pressure system will move south on Thursday morning, bringing occasional heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms.

Heavy rainfall will not occur in all areas, but localized flooding is expected in affected areas.

The morning commute could be a real challenge due to the rain, so it might be a good idea to allow a little extra time.

The rain showers will move eastwards until Thursday afternoon, but it will clear up a bit in the evening.

Rainfall COULD exceed 1 inch in some places, adding to our already high rainfall totals this spring!

From Friday onwards, drier air and milder temperatures will prevail, the 10-day forecast predicts a beautiful time for us!
