State Police Detectives Investigate Burglary in Laurel – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred early this morning in Laurel.

On May 29, 2024, at approximately 6:07 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 32000 block of Old Stage Road for a burglary. When officers arrived, they learned that two suspects had entered the home, tied up the victim, and assaulted him with what appeared to be a firearm, causing minor injuries. The suspects ran from the home with an undisclosed amount of money and property. The victim was able to get to the front door and call for help from a passing car.

The description of the suspects is unknown and surveillance footage is currently unavailable.

The Delaware State Police 4th Troop Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this case to contact Detective M.
