Two shoplifting incidents in Wheaton under investigation

Between late April and mid-May, two stores were targeted by shoplifters.



WHEATON, IL — Two Wheaton stores were targeted by shoplifters within two weeks, according to a police report.

On April 30, police were called to Kohl’s at 401 S. County Farm Road for a report of a shoplifting incident. Employees told police they saw a man enter the store around 7:15 p.m. and take bottles of perfume and cologne without paying.

On May 12, three men entered the Walgreens store at 2191 W. Roosevelt Rd. and stole “several liquor items,” according to police. The shoplifting occurred around 7:45 p.m.
