Reward in Kearny Mesa armed robbery case: San Diego police

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for an armed robbery in Kearny Mesa in March.

According to San Diego police, after 4 p.m. on March 19, a man entered the Chevron gas station at 7737 Balboa Ave., pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money.


After the clerk complied, the suspect left the store and fled southeast to a nearby parking lot, authorities said.

The officers described the suspect as a man between 25 and 30 years old, around 1.75 meters tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a black SD hat, black gaiter mask, black hoodie, black and white shoes, black pants and black gloves with white writing on the knuckles.
