Watching a calm weather period

HAZARD, Kentucky (WYMT) – After stormy weather on Sunday, the weather forecast is improving for most of the week.

Tonight until Tuesday night

We expect dry and cool weather conditions on Monday night. Lows overnight will be above 10 degrees Celsius with mostly clear skies. Dense fog is possible in some areas.

It will remain sunny on Tuesday. Most parts of the region will remain dry, but one or two isolated showers cannot be ruled out. Maximum temperatures will be 24 to 26 degrees under predominantly sunny skies.

The forecast for Tuesday night remains predominantly dry and cool. Here too, an isolated shower cannot be ruled out, but it will not be a widespread problem. Lows will be around 13 degrees Celsius with predominantly clear skies.

Below average for the middle of the week

For the middle of the week we expect predominantly dry and below-average weather.

Isolated showers are possible on Wednesday, but the overall probability is low. Temperatures will reach highs of between 21 and 25 degrees under predominantly sunny skies. Lows at night will be between 8 and 10 degrees.

Scattered showers are possible on Thursday as sun and clouds combine, but we’re not expecting any rain showers. Highs will remain above 25 degrees in most areas, but in our cooler areas temperatures may remain above 18 degrees. Lows will again be above 8 degrees and below 10 degrees.

Advanced forecast

The forecast for the end of the working week looks fantastic. Friday will be dry and sunny. Temperatures will reach 24 to 25 degrees, with lows of 8 to 10 degrees.

Humidity is likely to increase towards the weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, with partly sunny skies, occasional isolated showers are possible.

The maximum temperatures on both days will be between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperatures overnight will be between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius.
