15-year-old boy arrested for murder of 50-year-old man who raped him

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly killing a 50-year-old man who had repeatedly raped him in a village in Muzaffarnagar. The man’s body was reportedly found in his house on May 20 and the teenager was arrested on Saturday following a police investigation. He has been sent to a juvenile detention center.

The teenager was reportedly charged with murder after the man’s family filed a complaint with the police. “Weeks ago, the deceased had anally abused the minor and recorded an obscene video clip,” Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aditya Bansal was quoted as saying by news agency IANS.

The boy alleged that the victim, who had repeatedly sexually harassed him, was blackmailing him. “On Monday, the man forced the boy to come to his house after threatening to upload his video online. While being harassed, the boy took a sharp object lying next to him and attacked the man’s head and neck,” the SP said.

In another recent incident in Madhya Pradesh, a former factory worker was arrested for raping at least seven tribal students using a voice-changing app. The accused, identified as Brajesh Kushwaha, is an illiterate man who committed a series of crimes using the technology. Kushwaha contacted students from Sidhi district by posing as a college teacher and promising to help them get scholarships.

At the beginning of May this year A pregnant woman was raped and murdered in Nandri village of Dausa. After massive outrage over the incident, the villagers vandalised the houses of the accused and his relatives and set them on fire. An attempt was also made to burn the accused’s family members alive. The angry villagers did not even spare the police officials who arrived at the scene and started pelting them with stones and also vandalised their vehicles.
