Suspected serial robber arrested after threatening cashier with metal scraper, police said

SAN ANTONIO – According to San Antonio police, authorities have arrested a woman accused of robbing a gas station cash register with a metal scraper.

According to police, the incident occurred on May 22 at a QuikTrip gas station.

The cashier was trying to fix a gas pump at her register when she noticed the suspect, Gabriela Ramirez, out of the corner of her eye, police reported.

According to SAPD, Ramirez held a metal scraper to the cashier’s neck and said, “Open the registers. I don’t want to hurt you.”

The cashier feared for her life and could only scream in the situation, SAPD said. Another employee opened the register for Ramirez, police said.

While Ramirez allegedly stole cash and cigarettes, police said, “Please don’t come after me. If you come after me, I’ll kill you.”

The affidavit states that Ramirez then fled in a black Ford truck without license plates.

According to SAPD, Ramirez had robbed another cashier at a 7-Eleven gas station across the street from QuikTrip that same night.

Ramirez was arrested after allegedly attempting to rob another cashier at a different location, SAPD said. She was charged with aggravated robbery and is currently in the Bexar County Jail on $75,000 bail, court records show.
