Man shot in Anaheim liquor store parking lot

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in the parking lot of an Anaheim liquor store on Friday.

According to a statement from Anaheim Police, it happened around 7 p.m. outside a store in the 900 block of South Anaheim Boulevard.

When they arrived, they found a man, identified as 38-year-old Jesse Barragan, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the shooting may have been a gang-related crime, but have not yet released any information about possible suspects in the incident.
