Porsche accident in Pune: The 17-year-old ran over two technicians when he drove his 25 million rupee Porsche at 200 km/h.

Pune: The 17-year-old’s family went to great lengths to protect him after he hit and killed two IT professionals with his Rs 25 million Porsche on May 19. This included kidnapping the driver – who was sitting next to the accused that day – and influencing witnesses to change their statements to police.

The driver was “forcibly dragged into a waiting BMW” and driven to the family’s second bungalow, where he was locked in the room for a day. The driver was “released” after his wife went to the house and questioned the family, police commissioner Amitesh Kumar said.

“We then summoned him (the driver) for questioning and he narrated the entire incident to us and recorded his statement,” said the senior police officer.
