1 dead after end of chase in Cullman

CULLMAN, Alabama (WIAT) – A chase that ended in a crash in Cullman Friday morning left one person dead.

According to Chad Whaley of the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, the CCSO assisted other law enforcement agencies in a chase that began in Hartselle and continued into Cullman County. Whaley stated that the fleeing vehicle crashed within the city limits of Cullman and struck other vehicles.

The driver of the fleeing vehicle was arrested. Jeremy Kilpatrick of Cullman County confirmed a death in connection with the accident.
