Someone with criminal intent recently vandalized Steel City Park, and Lower Saucon Township Police are on the case.

In a post on its Crimewatch website Monday, police said they responded to the park at 2122 Riverside Drive after learning that trash cans there had been turned over and trash was scattered.

The police said that between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, a park bench was overturned next to the trash cans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-317-6110 or submit a tip via the Crimewatch hotline.
