Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia were involved in a scary car accident earlier this week, according to LaPaglia, who recalled the experience in a candid video she posted to her TikTok page earlier this week.

LaPaglia, a Barstool sports blog personality better known as Brianna Chickenfry, said in the video posted Tuesday that the pair “got into a traumatizing side-by-side car accident. “It rolled over a few times, everything broke.”

“Thank God we had our seatbelts on,” she said. “But there was a lot of blood and we thought we would say goodbye to each other.”

Bryan, who is currently on his “Quitting Time” tour, received stitches after an ambulance arrived on what LaPaglia described as a “huge wound.” She remembered then thinking, “We’re fine. We are happy and alive.”

CNN has reached out to a representative for Bryan for comment.

The country singer shared a photo of LaPaglia on his Instagram Stories following the accident, writing that she “carries the weight of everyone around her day after day.”

“I don’t understand how the hell you can keep it together when the people around you can’t,” he added, seeming to shy away from addressing the accident directly. “Thank you forever and ever, no matter what.”

In a follow-up video on TikTok, LaPaglia said she would “spend the rest of my life saying, ‘Buckle up’.”

“If you get one thing from me that I’ve ever posted in my entire social media career in the last five years,” she said, “it’s to buckle up.”
