One person was shot in the Trinity-Houston Gardens neighborhood in northeast Houston.

The person was shot at 5131 Weaver Road, a home located at the corner of the intersection of Weaver Road and Peachtree Street. Houston police received a call reporting the shooting Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

The lone victim was transported to a local hospital. There is currently no information available on the identity or condition of the victim, or what may have caused the shooting.
