Pedestrian struck and killed in Goshen Township

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A 41-year-old woman was struck and killed by a driver in Goshen Township Sunday morning, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

At approximately 1:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to State Route 28 at milepost 10 in Clermont County

Officials said an 18-year-old man was traveling east on State Route 28 when he struck Jacqueline Rogers, 41, of Loveland, a pedestrian in the roadway.

Rogers suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Bethesda North Hospital, where she later died, officials said.

The driver suffered no injuries, officials said.

Officials said the crash remains under investigation.
