Two men killed in chase with Fresno deputies

Two men were killed in a vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash in Fresno Saturday morning, according to Fresno police.

Around 1:30 a.m., a Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy saw a speeding motorcycle and tried to stop it, but it sped away.

When the driver reached the intersection of Ashlan and Maroa, he crashed into a sedan, according to police.

According to officials, both 25-year-old James Baker, who was driving the motorcycle, and 60-year-old Juan Jaramillo, who was driving the car, died at the scene.
