Woman Arrested After Vehicle Accident Involving Teen in Gibson County | News

GIBSON CO. Ind. (WEVV) — The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a woman following an incident in which a juvenile was struck by a vehicle.

Officers were called to Bald Hill Lane near Princeton around 1:15 p.m. Friday in response to the incident.

Upon arrival, law enforcement from the Sheriff’s Office and the Princeton Police Department began an investigation into the matter.

It was determined that the youth had been struck by a white Land Cruiser.

Brittany Burkett, 41, of Patoka was subsequently arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail.

She faces a Level 3 felony charge of Neglect.
