A New York man is accused of sexually abusing a teenager in North Jersey, investigators say

A Bronx man was arrested Friday after being accused of sexually abusing a teenager in Bergen County, authorities said.

Jorge Sanchez, 38, was charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated criminal sexual contact, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

The office was alerted to the alleged sexual assault by the New Jersey Division of Child Protection & Permanency on April 30 and began an investigation, officials said.
