Escaped Caddo Co. inmates have the county on high alert, and the search is underway

CADDO CO., Okla. (KSWO) – Three inmates reportedly escaped from the Caddo County Jail today, May 10th. If you see the inmates, authorities say to call 911 if you live in Caddo County, but if you live outside the county, call the Caddo County Sheriff’s Department immediately. That phone number is (405) 247-5700.

The three inmates are Davantae Winters, Hector Hernandez and Michael Brown.

Winters was arrested for first-degree murder, domestic violence and assault, while Brown was arrested for burglary, grand larceny and threatening violence.

Hernandez was charged with drug trafficking.

Do not approach or contact them as they may be armed and dangerous.

According to Tom Adkins of the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office, the three inmates escaped overnight. Authorities are unsure how the escape occurred but are currently reviewing camera footage.

The Caddo County Courthouse is currently closed.
