Spencer County Sheriff’s Office responds to shooting incident near Owensboro Bridge

The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident on River Road near the Owensboro Bridge, commonly referred to as the “blue bridge,” that resulted in a shooting. Officers responded to the altercation at 2 a.m. and identified a male juvenile as the perpetrator.

A report from the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.

Detectives from the Indiana State Police have joined the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
