Robbinsville, NJ – Semi-trailer accident with injuries on NJ Trail near MP 63

Robbinsville, NJ (July 27, 2024) – The Robbinsville Fire Department reported they were called to a car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 63 on Thursday, July 25.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 1:05 p.m. in the outside northbound lanes. About a half mile from the original scene, firefighters encountered an incident involving multiple semi-trucks, which was later determined to be a secondary incident. On scene, it was determined that a major accident had occurred at the original scene, which was further north on the road.

With the assistance of Bordentown Township Station 322, it was determined that the second incident was also a serious car crash involving two tractor-trailers. Multiple patients were evaluated and treated for injuries resulting from both incidents. Authorities on the scene did not release any further details, but the investigation into the events leading up to the accident is ongoing and witnesses have been asked to come forward in the meantime.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
