Atlanta’s best ATP bets including Nishioka vs Rinderknech

ATP 250 Semi-Finals in Atlanta

Shang-Thompson: 07/27/2024 9:00 p.m. CEST
H2H: 2-1

Juncheng Shang has won five straight matches. Here in Atlanta, Shang fought through the qualifying tournament and advanced to the main draw. In the first round of the main draw, Shang defeated Martin in three easy sets, dropping only two games. In the 1/8 finals, Shang defeated Shelton in three sets. It was one of his biggest wins in his young career. In the quarterfinals, Shang won against Purcell in three sets. He has yet to drop a single set in the main draw tournament. The Chinese teenager is one of the biggest young talents on the circuit right now.

Jordan Thompson has won three of his last five matches. Three weeks ago at Wimbledon, Thompson lost in the second round of the tournament to Nakashima in five tough sets. Here in Atlanta, Jordan won his first match against Mayot in three sets. Yesterday in the quarterfinals, Thompson won against Davidovich Fokina after spending three hours on the court. Last year in Atlanta, Jordan lost in the first round to Nishikori in three sets.

The best bet to make

According to the bookmakers, Shang is the favorite in this match. Jordan had a long and exhausting quarter-final, so we think he will be tired against Shang tonight. On the other hand, Shang has shown excellent tennis throughout the tournament, so we think he will win once again.

That being said, Shang’s victory is a worthy bet.

Nishioka – Rinderknech: 07/28/2024 01:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Yoshihito Nishioka has won four of his last five matches. Here in Atlanta, Nishioka played well in the first round, beating Svajda in three sets. Nishioka only lost his serve once, early in the first set. However, after that, Yoshihito served well and won in three sets. In the second round, Nishioka played a great match, beating McDonald in three sets. In the quarterfinals, Nishioka beat Tiafoe in three sets as we expected. Last year in Atlanta, Nishioka lost his second round match to Vukic in three tight sets.

Arthur Rinderknech has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Newport, Arthur lost in the second round to Kovacevic in three tight sets. Here in Atlanta, Rinderknech won his first round match against JJ Wolf in three easy sets. Arthur had a great serve, not giving up a single break point. In the second round, Arthur beat Walton in three sets as we expected. Yesterday in the quarterfinals, Rinderknech beat Bellucci in three tight sets as we expected.

The best bet to make

According to the bookies, the match should be 50-50. Rinderknech had a tough quarter-final against Bellucci yesterday, so he will probably be exhausted for his semi-final. Nishioka has had some great wins this week, so we think he will continue his winning streak.

That being said, Nishioka’s victory is a valuable bet.
