Two dead and two injured in traffic accident on Highway 67

Two people were killed and two seriously injured in a car crash Friday morning on Highway 67, about a mile south of the Kiwanis Fairgrounds. Christopher Washington, 23, West Inman Street, and Yamaya Hobbs, 22, Cypress Lake Mobile Home Park, were killed when their car left the road and rolled over, striking a tree, said Commander Sgt. Brad Mosher of Georgia State Patrol Post 45. According to a witness driving south on Highway 67 about 9:25 a.m. Friday, Washington’s car approached him from behind at a high rate of speed.
