Kelly Bayou Bridge will be closed in early August

MANGHAM, La. (KNOE) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that a section of Louisiana 132 in Mangham will be closed to all through traffic beginning Wednesday, August 7. The closure is to replace the Kelly Bayou Bridge and is part of an ongoing project to replace five bridges along Louisiana 132 in Richland Parish.

The closure will be approximately one mile west of La. 576. Those needing a detour can use La. 135, La. 15 and US 425.

“LA DOTD and Diamond B. Construction Co. thank you for your patience and remind you to drive through the construction site with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment,” said Erin Buchanan, LA DOTD spokesperson. “Residents should use caution when driving, walking or biking near an active construction site.”
