Man dies after collision between motorcycle and pickup truck in Buffalo County

BUFFALO CITY, Wisconsin (WEAU) – One person is dead in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Buffalo County.

According to a press release from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, on July 21, 2024, at approximately 5:43 p.m., authorities received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Gin Mill Lane near the intersection of Gin Mill Lane, Rooster Ridge Lane and Chicken Valley Road in the City of Buffalo.

The caller said he believed the driver of the motorcycle was dead.

The press release states that when authorities arrived, they found that the driver of the motorcycle, a 41-year-old man, was dead. The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly uninjured.

According to the press release, the investigation revealed that the driver of the motorcycle crossed into the oncoming lane on a blind curve and collided head-on with the pickup truck.

The incident is under investigation.
