Buffalo Diocese Announces Substantiated Charges Against Priest

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Allegations against a priest in the Buffalo Diocese have been confirmed following an investigation.

Rev. Joseph Rogliano was charged with sexual misconduct with adults and was removed from the prosecution.

The Rev. Rogliano was placed on administrative leave effective Sept. 11, 2023, according to the Diocese of Buffalo.

Before being placed on leave, he was pastor of Family 21, which consists of the parishes of Holy Trinity, SS. Columba-Brigid, St. Lawrence and St. Martin de Porres in Buffalo.

In February of this year, Rev. Rogliano resigned as pastor of Family 21 and retired.
