14-year-old boy dies after injuries in Heritage Pool

Two other people were injured by a collapsing wall, the report said. The severity of their injuries is currently unknown.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A 14-year-old boy has died after being injured in the Heritage Pool at Robins Air Force Base, according to Houston County Coroner James Williams.

He said the boy was injured when a wall fell on him and two other people around 3pm on Monday. It is currently unclear how the wall fell.

The other two injured in the accident were reportedly taken by ambulance to Macon Hospital. The severity of their injuries is currently unknown.

The 14-year-old’s name has not yet been released. Williams said he was taken by ambulance to Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The Officer of Special Investigations (OSI) at Robins Air Force Base is investigating the case. No further information is available at this time.
