Sheriff investigates plane crash in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY, Ind. – Police in Benton County confirm they are investigating a plane crash Monday evening.

According to a post on the sheriff’s Facebook page, the crash occurred southwest of Oxford, Indiana, about 20 miles west of Lafayette. The post further reported that County Road 200 East was closed between CR 700 South and CR 800 South.
