GASTONIA, NC — Gastonia police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal crash involving a pedestrian Thursday night.

The driver of a small SUV struck and killed the person on Bessemer City Road around 11:30 p.m., police said.

The impact is likely to have caused front-end damage to the SUV.
