Esta TerBlanche, star of “All My Children”, dies at 51

The world of soap operas is in mourning.

This TerBlanchethe in All my children in the late 90s and early 2000s, died on July 18, her spokesman said. The actress was 51 years old.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my friend and client Esta TerBlanche passed away on Thursday of natural causes,” her spokesman said. Lisa Rodrigoannounced on Facebook on July 20. An autopsy report is pending.”

The actress’ cause of death has not been disclosed. TerBlanche died at her Los Angeles home, according to Los Angeles County Coroner’s records obtained by E! News. A police spokesperson told E! News that authorities arrived at the scene on July 19 and that there were no signs of foul play and that the case is currently under investigation by the coroner’s office.

TerBlanche was born in South Africa and began her acting career there in the 1990s with an appearance in the bilingual soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold and moderation of the children’s program KT.V.
