Detroit police searching for 4 men after fatal shooting, Amber Alert

Detroit police are searching for four men following a fatal shooting that prompted an early morning Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old child. The child has since been found safe and sound, but DPD is continuing to search for the vehicle involved, authorities say.

The Amber Alert was issued early Sunday morning after authorities said four unidentified men in a gray Dodge Durango with Michigan license plate EAD 187 shot and killed a man traveling with a woman and a toddler around 10:09 p.m. Saturday night, police said.

The suspects then took the child and fled the scene in the Compass and Littlefield area on Detroit’s west side, police said.
