EXCLUSIVE: ‘The Impact: Atlanta’ Reportedly Renewed for Third Season

Good news for fans of the reality TV series The Impact: Atlanta.

laMarqueJasmine exclusively reports that the BET show has been greenlit for a third season.

Season 1 of the hit reality series premiered in October 2022 and featured some of the biggest social media entrepreneurs of the generation, including models. Ariana “Ari” Fletcher And Jayda Cheavesas well as hairdresser Dionte “Arrogant Tae” Grayand rappers Destiny “Dess Dior” Bailey And Lakeyah Robinson.

The series was later renewed for a second season without all of its original cast members. Jayda Cheaveswho has nearly 9 million followers on Instagram alone and shares his son Loyal with a rap star Little baby, has chosen not to return for season 2. It is not yet known whether or not she will join the cast for the supposed third season.

With Cheaves departure, host Jewel of Tuson and recording artist Jerrika Karlae joined the cast. Jewel of Tuson first appeared on the show in a guest role working as Tae arrogant assistant. His personality and his friendships with the hairdresser, and with Ari Fletcherapparently went down well with viewers, so much so that he was retained as a main cast member for the final season.

Jerrika Karlaeformer long-time girlfriend of rap star Young thughas continued to build an audience since the success of its report on Young thug 2018 single “U Ain’t Slime Enough”. It is unclear if the newcomers would return for the alleged third season.

The Impact: Atlanta follows the lives of Atlanta’s most influential young creatives and influencers as they try to balance family, friends and the empires they create. The show is executive produced by the co-founders of Quality Control Kevin “Coach K” Lee And Pierre “P” ThomasSeason 2 of the series aired its 9th and final episode in November 2023.
