The new high heels “The Rumbling” from Attack on Titan are released internationally

Japanese luxury brand Mayla is known for its high-quality anime-themed clothing and jewelry. Recently, the company has launched a truly stunning addition to its attack on Titan Collection – a pair of high heels inspired by the anime’s famous “rumbling” sequence.




The attack on Titan The “Doomsday Model” shoes are a dazzling tribute to Hajime Isayama’s iconic franchise. As seen in images on Mayla’s official website, the shiny back of the heel is covered in gold accents meant to mimic the gigantic ribcage of Eren Yeager’s “Founding Titan” form. The insole and outsole are a rich crimson color. Upon close inspection of the outsole, fans will notice incorporated motifs depicting the insignia of the Survey Corps, Training Squad, Military Police Brigade, and Garrison. The attack on Titan x Mayla logo is also visible on the insole. Pre-orders for the shoes, which cost about 29,700 yen (US$188), began on July 15 and will remain open until August 18. In addition, Mayla offers international shipping through the WorldShopping service, ensuring that AoT Fans outside Japan can join in the action.

Eren’s monstrous inner transformation is reflected in his fearsome “Doomsday” form, which is ultimately defeated by the remaining Survey Corps members. The shoes are officially touted as “elegant yet dazzlingly shiny, as if to symbolize the march to freedom. Step powerfully onto the ground.”


Since its founding, the attack on Titan Franchise has grown far beyond the anime adaptation and the original manga. In 2015 Shin-Godzilla – The Wonderful World of Madness Director Shinji Higuchi adapted the story as a two-part live-action film starring Haruma Miura (Eren Yeager), Kanata Hongo (Armin Arlert) and Kiko Mizuhara (Mikasa Ackerman). A few years later, the story was brought to life as a musical adaptation with innovative high-tech effects. This show, which will be performed later this year at the New York City Center Theater, received rave reviews from attack on Titan Creator Hajime Isayama. “When I saw the performance in Tokyo, I was overwhelmed by the power of the stage,” he said. “I thought the musical expression was a perfect fit for the work.”
