On camera | TDP leader brutally stabs Jagan Reddy’s YSRCP party member on busy street in Andhra Pradesh

In a horrific incident, a member of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) was stabbed to death by a Telugu Desham Party (TDP) worker on a busy road in Palnadu district on Wednesday.

The dead man was identified as Sheikh Rashid, a member of the YSRCP youth wing. He was stabbed multiple times and his hands were also chopped off.

The entire incident was recorded by a surveillance camera and showed the brutal attack on a busy street while bystanders stood silently by.

The party also shared the video of the gruesome crime on its official X-handle and said, “Jilani, the TDP goon who turned into an anthropomorphic monster and killed a YSRCP worker in Palnadu. Vinukonda YSRCP youth wing leader Rashid was brutally attacked with a knife. Rashid died while undergoing treatment in hospital after his both hands were critically injured and his neck was also shot. Home Minister @Anitha_TDP, @naralokesh, @PawanKalyan How many more people should become victims of your @JaiTDP rakshasananda? Is anyone doing the worst party politics in the country @ncbn?”

The party also appealed to President Droupadi Murmu to take note of the law and order situation in the state.

According to preliminary police investigations, there are basically no political connections; they point to personal differences as the motive for the crime.

Following the incident, the police have enforced strict prohibition measures across the Vinukonda town where the incident occurred. The police have also assured that any attempt to create unrest or disturb the peace will be met with severe consequences.
