TONIGHT:

Showers and thunderstorms will continue as a cold front moves into and through Middle Tennessee. It will remain warm and humid with lows around 70 degrees. Rain will be seen in some areas. Where it rains, brief showers, lightning and thunder are possible. However, many other areas will remain dry.

THURSDAY FRIDAY:

Rain is expected on Thursday, especially southeast of Nashville. It will be fairly cloudy in the morning before the sun comes out in the afternoon. High: 30°C. A light north wind will pick up, gradually reducing the humidity a bit.

Friday looks to be the nicest day in the forecast. Humidity will be moderate and temperatures will actually be below average for a change. Low: 66. High: 88.

THIS WEEKEND:

This weekend the weather will be typical for mid-summer. Expect lows of around 21°C, highs of around 32°C and a mix of clouds and sunshine.

There will be some showers and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon. More rain is expected Sunday afternoon. The chance of rain is 30% on Saturday and 40% on Sunday.

NEXT WEEK:

Next week our weather looks unstable for the first time in a long time.

From Monday to Wednesday, every day will be cloudy, with higher humidity and isolated showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain on these three days is 50-60%, with the highest chance of rain occurring in the afternoon.
