Man confesses to sexually abusing two 17-year-olds in Borders Hotel

Michael Anderson, 33, pleaded guilty to the offences at the Ednam House Hotel in Kelso on November 9 last year.

The court heard that Anderson had been drinking in the bar and was extremely drunk at the time of the offences.

Anderson, who now lives and works in Edinburgh, was given a suspended sentence until August 26, pending a prison community work report.

In addition, he is subject to the reporting requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.
