Katie Price recalls the terrifying words of a man who sexually abused her at the age of 7

Katie Price has spoken about the horrific sexual assault she experienced at the tender age of seven.

In her new book, “This is Me: The High Life. The Dark Days. The FULL Story,” the 46-year-old model recounts the harrowing words of the man who attacked her during what should have been an innocent day out with her mother in the park.

Katie remembers the man’s red freckles clearly. She describes them as clear and distinct, all over his face. She says that even after all these years, she can still see them and his bald head with its tufts of red hair when she closes her eyes.

The man had disgustingly offered her a pound and an ice cream. In her next book, which is being serialised in the Mail, Katie wrote: “He was a total stranger who was in my life for just a few minutes 39 years ago, and yet I can see him as vividly as if it were yesterday.”

Katie shared her experience

“And that’s because this man, this monster, sexually abused me when I was seven years old. Seven. Then he pointed to a block of flats in the distance. ‘I’ll go back there and get you a pound and an ice cream.'”

Katie admitted that his “voice is echoing in my head as I write this” as she explained how she had “gone to the park with my mum and some friends and there was a bush that was part of a shortcut to get there”, she said she had walked the path “countless times” and “it was the middle of the day and the park, near our house in Hove, East Sussex.”

The former glamour model described how the park was “full of children’s laughter and the sounds of play” while she was “far away in a nightmare of sexual exploitation”. She added: “From that moment on I felt like men were constantly staring at me. I suppose that’s what it does to you when your innocence is destroyed at a young age.”

Police were never able to catch the man who attacked her. Katie also revealed in her new book that since that day she has been “sexually assaulted twice.” The first time “was against a celebrity, but while I want to acknowledge that, I will not name the perpetrators here.”

She then admitted that she was sexually abused for the third time, “in South Africa in 2018 while filming for ITV1’s reality show, My Crazy Life, with a crew and two of my five children: my son Junior, then 13, and my daughter Princess, then 11.”
